In June, OTF Canada hosted “Dialogues for Change” — an evening dedicated to building awareness, connecting changemakers, and strengthening community support for equal educational opportunities in Pakistan.
With the gracious presence of board members Arif Saleem, Zohair Zakariya, and Marzia Khambaty, the event brought together members of the Pakistani-Canadian community in a warm, purposeful setting. The aim was simple but powerful: to showcase how collective action can uplift underserved students through access to education.
Held in an intimate and inspiring environment, the event served as a platform to share OTF Canada’s mission, celebrate progress, and invite more voices into the conversation. Attendees heard firsthand how education is transforming lives, and how their support plays a vital role in this mission.
Powered by Volunteers
This impactful evening would not have been possible without the hard work and heart of our volunteer team. A special thank you goes out to:
⦁ Bemisal Iqbal, Naveed Mukaty, Mahvish Tabani Baqai, and Rabab — for leading event planning and coordination.
⦁ Hafsa Khan, Wardah Mughal, Nabil Abbasi, Ibad Abbasi, Abdullah Pirani, and Lamia — for their incredible on-site support.
Each one of you made the evening seamless and memorable.

A Movement Growing Stronger
Dialogues for Change was not just an event; it was a reminder that change begins with conversation. As more members of the community step forward to volunteer, advocate, and support our cause, OTF Canada’s reach and impact continue to grow.
Together, we are building a future where no child is denied the right to education due to financial barriers.
